ArgosSECURITY™ Summer & Fall 2016 Upcoming Conferences

Posted May 10, 2016 | by webtech

Conference season isn’t over yet and our summer and fall calendars are filling up! As you plan your travel for the coming summer months and into fall, make sure one of our upcoming conferences is added to the itinerary.

2016 Ohio Tactical Officers Association Annual Training Conference

Location: Sandusky, Ohio – Kalahari Resort & Convention Center

Date: June 7th, 2016

If you consider yourself to be “tactically minded,” then the Ohio Tactical Officers Association Annual Training Conference is for you. It’s not just about the perks for attending (like the 5.11 Moab 10 bag or the chance to win a 2016 Toyota Tacoma) – it’s about training, working together to develop tactics, and exchanging information.

The best part is it’s not just for the SWAT cops. Registration is open to all first responders. A full list of classes and trainings are available, but classes are filling up fast, so register soon.

The Vendor Exhibition is on June 7th. Make sure you stop by our booth in between training sessions to say hi, have a chat about weapons storage, and walk away with a sample of our own brand of hot sauce.

2016 Police & Security Expo

Location: Atlantic City, New Jersey – Atlantic City Convention Center

Date: June 28th – June 29th, 2016

The Police & Security Expo is the industry’s longest running, most respected and best known product showcase. This year’s conference is the 30th anniversary industry super show. It will feature the latest products, services and technological advances needed by industry professionals. There will be over 750 exhibits on display! You’ll see anything from a common flashlight to transport vehicles and everything in between – don’t miss out!

This show is going to be huge. In addition to the over 750 vendors, over 7,000 industry professionals are expected to attend, including police chiefs, officers of all ranks, federal & state agencies, specialists, and more.  As an attendee, you’ll also have the opportunity to attend seminar programs, product demonstrations, and new product updates.

A word of caution from Police Security Expo Management:

Be careful with hotel reservations. If you’re attending and a third party housing service tries to contact you, hang up and notify police-securityexpo [at] comcast [dot] net – these are fraudulent solicitations. The Police Security Expo has not authorized any third party or provided contact lists for them to solicit business in this manner.

You have to register to attend, but there are no admission fees for industry professionals. Exhibits are open Tuesday, June 28th from 1000hrs to 1700hrs and on June 29th from 1000hrs to 1530hrs.

Stop by booths 1720 & 1722 for a chat (and some of our hot sauce). We’ll see you there!

138th National Guard Association of the United States 2016 General Conference and Exhibition

Location: Baltimore, Maryland

Date: September 10th – 12th, 2016

Formed in 1878, the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS) is the nation’s oldest military association lobbying solely for the benefit of the National Guard. It began with a group of militia officers trying to obtain better equipment and training by petitioning Congress for more resources and has become a platform for educating the public about the Guard’s role and history in the Armed Forces of the United States. The NGAUS also maintains a strong voice in Washington D.C. to ensure the Guard has sufficient resources and budget to maintain the highest state of readiness and to carry out its mission.

Over 470,000 men and women are currently serving in the Army and Air National Guard. The National Guard Association of the United States works for them by seeking modern equipment, training, missions and personnel benefits in support of those serving, as well as their families, employers and all Guard retirees.

The NGAUS Conference is returning to Maryland for the fourth time to bring National Guard officers from around the country together in Downtown Inner Harbor to celebrate Defenders Day. There will be plenty to do, plenty to learn and plenty of vendors to check out during the Industry Exhibition. Plus, you’ll be able to connect with other attendees on Twitter by using #NGAUS2016

Make sure you stop by booth 1807 for a chat. See you in Baltimore!
