Equipment Storage Locker Installation: Palmyra Police Department
Palmyra Police Department Equipment Storage Locker Need
When the Palmyra Police Department’s facility was built in the 1990s, the men’s and women’s locker rooms were designed with school-type lockers that measured 12 inches wide by 12 inches deep. Over the years, this locker size became insufficient for storing each officer’s uniforms and law enforcement equipment. The Department wanted to replace the existing lockers and corresponding bench seats with a larger storage solution and new bench seating while staying within the existing space and room height.
“After 20 years, our officers have ample storage space for their uniforms and equipment. This has worked as a morale booster for all of our staff.” Chief Scott Pearlman
The Palmyra Police Department supplied Argos by Datum detailed specifications, and Argos custom designed and built 20 personal storage lockers with corresponding benches to meet the needs of the department and the limits of the space. Each locker measures 18 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 84 inches high, supplying the officers enough room for jackets, boots, shoes, duty gear, and patrol bags. Each locker also includes a bottom drawer with a separate lock for added privacy and security. The durable powder coated finish in the tech blue color matches the precinct’s colors and will hold up to years of locker room wear and tear.
The durable steel construction of Argos Security by Datum’s Personal Storage Lockers provides the Palmyra Police Department with a convenient, secure storage area. Adjustable shelves, garment rods, and interior compartments allow officers to rearrange storage space to suit their needs. A large drawer in the bottom of the cabinet locks separately from the door. The louvered doors and drawers provide adequate airflow while maintaining privacy and security.
